Kate never stands still. She founded the #1 all girl personal training team in east London (KBPT) and has always had an ambition to run fitness retreats.
Having moved from London to Braunton in 2015, she wants to share North Devon and her tried-and-tested training techniques with as many people as possible.
A qualified Level 3 personal trainer, pre natal personal trainer and post natal personal trainer, Kate’s passion for fitness is infectious. With a decade’s experience in the industry, Kate specialises in sandbells, TRX, Beamfit, nutrition, weight loss, functional body weight, rehabilitation, cancer recovery, kettlebells, ViPR, BOSU, rebounding, strength training, medicine ball, swiss ball, running, boxing, cycling and sport-specific training.
Outside of work, Kate’s a keen runner and cyclist and, of course, a regular at the gym and yoga classes. She’s also raised over £70,000 for charity through various fitness challenges. Her PT clients describe her as enthusiastic, motivating and kind. Yes, she’ll work you hard but you’ll have a smile on your face!
Jess was first introduced to the practice of yoga in 2015 and she's been regularly practicing yoga ever since. Experiencing the positive benefits of yoga on both her mind and body inspired her to become a yoga teacher.
In 2018 Jess qualified as a Hatha yoga teacher through the British School of Yoga and during her travels around India, she received her 200-hour RYS Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga teacher certificate.
Jess loves sharing her passion with others and has been teaching yoga in North Devon for over four years.
Jess has an all around love of exercise and has recently qualified her Level Two in Gym Instructing so can teach group exercise classes. She is also training to become a personal trainer in the future so watch this space.
Born in landlocked Czech Republic, Lenka relocated to sunny North Devon in her early twenties, attracted by ocean living and relaxed lifestyle.
Lenka first discovered yoga in 2012, completing her 200h YTT in Roshikesh, India in 2019, which enabled her to travel around the World teaching yoga. Lenka is continuously learning and believes that knowledge is power and the key to a happy life is balance. She is a strong believer in the 5 pillars of a healthy lifestyle - mindset, movement, recovery, sleep and nutrition.
Lenka’s yoga classes are a chance to both recharge and unwind, focusing on connecting with your inner self through Vinyasa Flow. Lenka is looking forward to helping retreat guests find their rhythm, strength, and balance on the yoga mat.
Rob is a North Devon boy, born and bred. He was a sporty youngster, playing tennis for the county from age 12 onwards. Eventually, he moved away to study Sports Science at university.
He began his tennis coaching career for a company in London, working his way up the ladder to become a partner in the business and stayed there for 10 years.
No one can stay away from North Devon for long, and Rob moved back home in 2017. He set up theDevonshire Tennis Academy, bringing the opportunity to have tennis coaching inNorth Devon schools, local tennis clubs and health clubs, making the sport much more accessible to both adults and children alike.
Rob has over 15years’ experience in coaching and is a trained LTA Licence Coach - Level Four as well as being First Aid Trained. He has a lifelong passion for tennis and loves developing peoples’ skills. It was important to Rob that his coaching programme welcomed people of all ages as he is true believer that it is a sport for life.

Sam became a massage therapist in 2011 qualifying in ITEC body massage and sports massage. Sam has always been passionate about holistic therapies and is always looking to expand her knowledge. This led Sam to qualify as a Bowen practitioner and achieve a diploma in complimentary therapies. While working at numerous clinics around North Devon, she continued to build her impressive holistic portfolio. Currently she is studying for a Health and Wellbeing science degree as well as running her own private practice here in North Devon. What a lady!
